Vermont Creamery produces European-style cheeses and cultured butter. Allison Hooper and Bob Reese started Vermont Butter and Cheese Company in 1984 when a local chef needed goat cheese for a special dinner. The company, through its network of small family farms, has expanded to include a full line of goats' and cows' milk cheeses, Creme Fraiche and Cultured Butter.
