Golden Spice S'mores Bars Recipe
Ooey, gooey, chocolatey, and chewy. Everyone’s favorite fall treat gets an upgrade when you add hints of ginger, turmeric, cinnamon, and cardamom. This s’mores bar recipe, with its warm spices, is a treat you can enjoy anytime, no campfire required!
Yield: 20 bars
Ingredients
Crust:
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1?4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
Filling:
- 2 Golden Spice chocolate bars, chopped
- 6 gourmet vanilla marshmallows, cut to be mini marshmallow-sized
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
Topping:
- 1 Golden Spice chocolate bars, cut into chunks
- 6 gourmet vanilla marshmallows, cut to be mini marshmallow-sized
- 2 graham crackers, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9x13 baking dish with parchment or greased tinfoil.
- Combine graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, salt, and melted butter and mix until well combined. Press evenly into baking dish.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove crust from oven. Sprinkle chopped chocolate over crust and drizzle sweetened condensed milk on top. Evenly distribute the filling marshmallows.
- Return to oven and bake for another 15 minutes.
- Remove pan from oven and evenly distribute chocolate chunks, chopped graham crackers, and remaining marshmallows on top. Bake for another 10 minutes, or until the topping marshmallows are puffed and just starting to lightly brown.
- Let cool completely, then remove from pan and cut.
