Founded in 1984 by two young entrepreneurs, Vermont Creamery was one of the pioneers of European-style artisan cheese in America. Nestled in the green hills of Vermont, we make consciously crafted dairy that reflects who we are and what we care about; we’ve taken the time to perfect every detail of what we make.
B Corp certified since 2014, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, transparency, and legal accountability. To that end, we’ve reduced our food waste significantly thanks to our partnership with Vanguard Renewables, harnessing the power of biodigesters here in Vermont to turn food waste into renewable energy. We are also prioritizing our sustainable packaging initiatives, as we work to transition our chèvre film and aged cheese clamshells to fully recyclable materials.
