Mama Tree Farm, a woman-owned farm located in the mountains of Worcester, Vermont aims to delight the senses with breathtaking flowers and scrumptious baking mixes made from flavorful, naturally gluten-free, climate-friendly, and nutritious ancient grains.
Mama Tree Farm baking mixes use biodiverse, climate friendly, resilient, naturally gluten-free* and nutritious ancient food plants. They are produced in my commercial kitchen in Worcester, Vermont which only processes gluten-free ingredients. Mama Tree Farm ancient plant baking mixes are made with 100% naturally gluten-free ingredients and premium and sustainable cacao products and sold throughout New England and soon the Hudson River Valley in markets and co-ops, as well as online nationwide.
We are experimentally growing non-cannabis, "good mood" herbs for non-alcoholic cocktails and culinary use and ancient grains (millet, teff, amaranth, and sorghum) to research their potential as viable crops in the Northeast. Mama Tree Farm uses only regenerative, no-till practices to enhance soil biodiversity and health, increase water infiltration and boost the soil's water-holding capacity, and sequester carbon and avoids synthetic fertilizers and pesticides.
