Production efficiency comes with a strategized equipment procurement plan by thinking through the "Flow of Food" and all the steps of food handling to produce a specialty food product. Bottlenecks of your operation can be alleviated with specialized equipment, but without a strategy, you may create or establish another bottleneck just a few steps later by only scaling or mechanizing 1 step of your "Flow of Food". Overviewing common commercial processing equipment, recognizing regular production challenges within recipe scale-up, and framing a plan for how to achieve production efficiencies are topics we hope to cover.
