2017-2018 Windham Region CEDS Update

October 2, 2017

BDCC/SeVEDS is accepting new projects and updated projects for its fourth annual update to the regional Comprehensive Economic Development Strategies (CEDS).

The CEDS is a regional plan for growth of the economy that was created in 2013 using a federally prescribed regional and public approach. The CEDS contains a section identifying and prioritizing vital projects, programs and activities that address the region’s greatest needs or that will best enhance the region’s competitiveness.  Inclusion of your project in the CEDS indicates to federal funders that your project is aligned with the region’s economic goals for growth. Inclusion can also assist the region in understanding what projects in our region are being proposed or are underway.  For a full list of last year’s projects, visit https://brattleborodevelopment.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/2016CEDSProjectPressRelease.pdf.

For those who would like more information, Laura Sibilia of BDCC will hold a Knowledge Bites webinar session on November 7th from 12:00-12:30pm on the CEDS project submission process. For instructions on how to connect visit, www.brattleborodevelopment.com/knowledge-bites/
